Jesus paints the world as a place overrun by darkness, in fact He said that it is governed by the kingdom of darkness, and we only have to switch on the news to prove that. Jesus also explained that he came from another Kingdom, the Kingdom of Heaven/Kingdom of Light.
Jesus also told His disciples to pray, “Let your Kingdom come and your will be done on earth as it is in heaven”. God so loved the world that He sent Jesus into the world. Light came into the darkness and set people free from sin, sickness and loneliness, and that was just the beginning.
The great news is that God is in the restoration business. He wants us whole, in mind, body and spirit, and above all He wants to spend eternity with us.
The Beacon Christian Fellowship is a light in the world, we live it loud and we live it proud, we will not hide or be hidden. We believe that the Christian Church is Gods instrument to establish the Kingdom of Heaven here on earth, and we are seeing it happen. Please feel free to read some of our God stories.
